In the 'My Computer' panel you can browse through the files stored in your local computer. You can browse for the files you need to upload, and when you start a file download, the currently active folder in this panel will be used as the local destination folder for the file.

The Folders Pane can be hidden by clicking on the 'Show/Hide Folders' button.
